India’s pollution problem is reaching a catastrophic scale, the Indian government is still pursuing the transition to clean energy at only a snail’s pace. India has 22 out of the 30 most polluted cities in the world. New Delhi for the third consecutive year, is the world’s most polluted capital according to the ‘World Air Quality Report, 2020’.

Reasons for Increasing Pollution:

• Increased use of vehicles for transporting and the toxic fuel produced by vehicles.

• Veg wastes from market, building wastes from construction sites add to the dirt and air pollution to the public.
• Lastly e-wastes are generating heat and the chemicals from worn out parts of e-wastes are a threat to living people.
